A theory or rumour from players, set apart from the facts in a box with a dashed edge. The box always says that the developers haven't confirmed it. It adds the page to Category:Pages with player theories.
Say what the theory is, and what it is based on: something players have seen in the game, or something the developers have said, with a link. Don't name the players who came up with it.
When the game or the developers confirm it, move it into the text and take the box off. If it turns out to be wrong, take it out. Project:Conventions#Facts says more.
Examples
{{Theory|The closed platform at Example Central may open for a new line. The tracks beyond it already join the main line.}}
This is what some players think. The developers haven't confirmed it, and it may be wrong.
The closed platform at Example Central may open for a new line. The tracks beyond it already join the main line.
For several theories on one subject, put them in one box as a list:
{{Theory|title=Player theories|
* The first theory, and what it's based on.
* The second theory, and what it's based on.
}}
If the text has an equals sign (=) in it, start it with 1=.
